Phillip Lim for Target

Another celeb collaboration is about to hit Target September 15 -- Phillip Lim for Target. Lim's collection is divided into morning, noon and night wardrobes. His goal was to create a solid selection of clothes for “everyday men and women” at Target’s price point. The line consists of more than 100 basics, ranging from $20 to $300.

P.S. Upon request (cough, cough Eric), I will start including men's fashion in my posts.

I Love You

The Neighbourhood came out with their debut album "I Love You". So f***ing good!!! My girl Alec was awesome enough to buy us tickets to see them open for Atlas Genius for my birthday! I only got to meet 2/5 of the band. Sigh. But I did get the setlist with two autographs and these pics.

University of Texas "Transcend" Fashion Show

Last week I went to the "9 to 5: 100 Years of Working Women" at the University of Texas at Austin.
I met this lovely lady (pictured below) with THE coolest purse I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. The designer, D. L. Einbender, creates one-of-a-kind leather masks and purses using a technique borrowed from Renaissance Italy.

I toured the department's artifact storage rooms. The rooms were dark to preserve the fabrics, so I was unable to take many pictures.

San Francisco Part V

Day 5 we left the hostel, our home away from home. We got pretty attached to that old thing.
Our friend and cook, Egidio.

Austin's Leslie made it all the way to the West Coast!

Leaving our mark in our room.

Our neighborhood had a lot of character to say the least. Nighttime was always hopping at the clubs across the street. People go hard on Broadway, sometimes till 9 am! We even witnessed a fight.

Truth.
