Usually when I get the occasional Free People catalog, I like the individual pieces but the outfit combinations can get funky. This month's catalog was different. I love almost every outfit outfit put together!

Fun Fact

It's common knowledge that men were the first to don heeled shoes. Many don't know that high heels originated in Persia as riding footwear. When a soldier stood up in his stirrups, the heel helped him to secure his stance so that he could shoot his bow and arrow more effectively. Today high heels signify femininity and glamour. Just found this AMAZING band The Neighbourhood, an indie pop group from Los Angeles who started in 2011.

 My favorite track off of their EP "I'm Sorry..." is Sweater Weather. 

I'm also digging this cover of Say My Name/Cry Me a River.

I was born in the wrong era! One of my favorite hobbies is watching old black and white movies. I love the fashion, the hair, and the the glamour! Some of my all time favorites include Some Like It Hot, How to Marry a Millionaire, Bonnie and Clyde, and Casablanca.
